Charlie and I chose Nicola from The Wedding Company to be our wedding planner a few months into planning the big day. I had a vision for sure and I was sceptical as to whether I even needed a planner. The reality is, the whole process of planning your big day can be hugely overwhelming, especially if you don't have any professional help. There are do’s and don’ts that no one but an expert can tell you, lists and lists and lists of to do’s that need clarity and streamlining. Every magazine, blog, Pinterest, friend or family will give you a new piece of advice and ultimately, having a professional to guide you through every step will be the best decision you make. You can plan your own wedding for sure, but this is your big day, you want it to be perfect and Nicola will make it just that. Perfect.
From venues to cake tasting, we gave Nicola all our ideas and she guided and supported us every step of the way. She was highly knowledgeable, detailed and professional but also kept the message alive throughout every meeting that it was “our” day. She kept me organised, reassured, and took any stress or worry away. Exactly what you need in a wedding planner! Throughout the planning process, I was able to touch base with her whenever, but making the day our best ever was her ultimate aim. Her passion, drive, organisation and leadership ensured that all of our components came together on the day. Liaising with all the suppliers, she ensured no stone was unturned and that on the day, we could float on air and just enjoy it! To say she went over and above is an understatement and we just cannot thank her enough for all that she did. We cannot recommend her and her team enough!

My darling Nicola, where do I start? I never even considered how much work and organisation went into planning a wedding, let alone MY wedding. I’m so honoured that you were a part of it. From the very first moment we spoke you put me at ease, you were on hand with any query or simply just to give advice. You took the stress away from us and navigated us through this journey and made it enjoyable. Even with the problems and hiccups, you were on hand with solutions.
What a fantastic day and night it was, everyone is still talking about it! From the bottom of my heart, the biggest thank you to you and your team for being a part of the best day of our lives. I only wish we could do it all over again! Such an expert in what you do, Mr & Mrs Lee xx

Your consistent communication, management and co-ordination building up to and on the day was exceptional and if there were any hick ups, believe me we didn’t know about it.

A huge thank you to Nicola and her team for planning and coordinating our dream wedding!
From our first meeting with Nicola, we could tell straight away she was perfect for the job. She’s organised, a go getter and really understood our needs. She asked us all the right questions, and importantly, brought up things that we had forgotten. We had numerous meetings and she was always available to message/call if we needed anything. She gave us many recommendations for different suppliers, one being the AV company we decided to use - they were incredible! Nicola took the stress off of us by taking charge of all suppliers. She put together a time schedule of the whole wedding day, which organised all of the suppliers for set up, and timings of the whole wedding reception.
Nicola was at the reception venue from early morning making sure everything was being set up accordingly, and was there ready to greet us with her team when we arrived. It was so comforting to see her when we first walked in, as she assured us everything was running as planned. All we had to think about was enjoying our wedding day.
When planning a big wedding (we had 300 guests) there are so many parts to it that is it impossible to do it all alone.
It was so nice to have Nicola there to guide us, advise us and be excited with us throughout the planning process. Nothing was too much of an ask. We really could not have done it without her! We highly recommend Nicola and The Wedding Company for any size wedding.

We had the pleasure working with Nicola as our wedding planner, when getting married in 2021. From the beginning, Nicola was extremely helpful in researching and identifying venues and suppliers, as well as attending meetings to help with negotiations.
Due to covid, our wedding had to be rescheduled twice, with several suppliers cancelling on us. Nicola was fantastic in helping find new dates and rebook suppliers, as well as keeping us calm and reassured, making herself available any time of day to speak.
We had some challenges with the venue along the way, but Nicola just took charge of the situation and completely took the stress away, allowing us to enjoy the build up to our special day.
On the day of the wedding, Nicola and the team ensure our venue looked beautiful and that we had the most amazing day. Thank you, Nicola, and the team, for all your hard work! I would highly recommend!

Nicola's support and advice was invaluable throughout the wedding planning process. Her experience was obvious from the outset - there's nothing she doesn't know about weddings and she has access to all the best suppliers, which actually saved us a ton of money in the end! She asked a lot of questions and listened to exactly what we wanted our wedding day to be like, but was also not afraid to impart her wisdom - for example I originally booked my ceremony for 4pm but Nicola convinced me that 3pm would be better as everything takes longer than you imagine on a wedding day, and she thought we'd regret having less "party time" - she was SO right!
She attended venue visits, food tastings and liaised with all our suppliers to ensure the day was organised to the last detail. Knowing that Nicola had everything under control allowed myself and my husband to really relax and enjoy the week leading up to our wedding.
On the day itself, Nicola was an absolute superstar - she had absolutely everything under control and the day ran perfectly according to schedule. Many of our guests have commented on how the day flowed so well, which was completely down to Nicola’s expertise. Many of our wedding party and friends also commented on how hard-working and efficient (and lovely) our wedding planner seemed!
We are so grateful and pleased we decided to go with Nicola and would highly recommend her services.
